TRIP OVERVIEW

Your accommodations will be charming boutique lodgings, providing a comfortable and intimate atmosphere. On the second night, embark on the Swan Cruise in Halong Bay. This journey takes you away from the typical less tourist paths, allowing you to enjoy the stunning landscapes in a more serene and private setting.

Paddy Home is a newly built homestay situated in a typical Vietnamese village between Hanoi and Halong Bay, making it an ideal stop for a cultural discovery en route to Halong Bay. Though new, the owner has authentically restored traditional Vietnamese living quarters, providing modern comforts and amenities. Here, you can immerse yourself in Vietnamese culture and history, engaging in activities like river fishing, rice harvesting, and cycling through paddy fields.

On the second day, after breakfast, you’ll cycle to a traditional handicraft kiln to learn about ceramic and pottery making. You’ll also visit a local market to experience daily village life before checking out and heading to Halong Bay. There, you’ll board the Swan Cruise, exploring the bay’s stunning landscapes on a less touristy route.

Our driver will welcome pick up at the hotel lobby in Hanoi, it take 1,5 hour drivering to arrival to our homestay at Dong Triêu village. We will be welcome up on arrival by local host with nice smile and cold drinks 

Upon check-in to your accommodation, a delectable lunch will be served. Should you arrive a bit early for lunch, you're welcome to unwind by the pool, take a refreshing swim, or take a leisurely stroll around the village to acquaint yourself with the local daily life and culture.

Following lunch, at around 2:00 PM, we embark on a bicycle ride through the neighboring villages, traversing picturesque rice paddy fields. You'll have the opportunity to observe rice-related activities according to the season. Later, we proceed to the river to explore various fishing techniques. By approximately 5:30 PM, we return to our homestay for a relaxing session and indulge in a soothing foot massage in aromatic herbal water, situated by the swimming pool.

Come 7:00 PM, it's time for a delightful dinner. Afterward, you have the leisure to engage in private conversations or connect with the house owner, who has a unique history as a war veteran. Feel free to exchange stories and gain insights into their experiences.

Embrace the dawn of a Vietnamese new day with quintessential activities, beginning by engaging in a lesson of traditional Vietnamese martial arts for exercise. Then, savor a cup of tea amidst the serene courtyard.

Here's the schedule:
7:30 AM: Relish a hearty breakfast at the restaurant.
8:30 AM: Delight in a brief bike ride to the local market in town, followed by a visit to the pottery kiln.
10:00 AM: Return to the homestay.
10:30 AM: Complete the check-out process for your onward journey, whether it be to Halong Bay or any other destination.
